Yes, we recently changed our name to The Family Place. Our mission is still to strengthen families and protect children.
No, we are a private 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization governed by a board of directors.
We receive funding from fundraising activities, grants, and donations.
The Family Place was founded in 1982, originally called the Child & Family Support Center. Since that time, we’ve been able to expand our facility and our services.
We care for children ages 11 and under.
We offer classes, homes visiting and counseling for children, teens and parents. Our nursery only serves children 11 and under.
The Nursery is provided at no-cost. Therapy is provided on a sliding scale based on your income. Several of our classes require a fee with scholarships available for families in need.
All of our staff and Nursery volunteers have passed background checks. Our staff is also certified in First Aid, CPR and Food Handling. In addition, staff members undergo intensive training before they can provide direct services. Our Nursery is operated in compliance with Utah State Childcare Licensing requirements.
Our programs help to strengthen all families in Cache and Rich counties.
We make every effort to provide confidential services. We will only release confidential information as directed by our clients (with signed “Release of Information”) and as required by law. Additionally, everyone in Utah, whether a public official or a private citizen, is required to report child abuse.
