Donations and Volunteer Coordinator

The Family Place Utah is seeking applicants for a full time Donations and Volunteer Coordinator (35-40 hours per week). The position is with the Advancement Team and reports to the Advancement Manager.

The Family Place Utah is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization striving to achieve its mission of Strengthening Families and Protecting Children in Cache and Rich Counties through therapy, education, and 24-hour Kid’s Place care and shelter services.

Duties Synopsis

The Donations and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for organizing and tracking donations across the organization. They cultivate volunteers as valued donors.  They are organized, efficient, and know how to interact professionally with staff, donors, and clients alike.


  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  1. Approachable and friendly personality, works well with donors, and has experience in community engagement.
  2. Protects and maintains confidentiality of restricted or proprietary client and business information.
  1. Computer literate, skilled in the use of Microsoft Office
  2. CPR and First Aid (Adult, Child, and Infant) certified (may be obtained after hire).
  3. Food Handler’s Certification (may be obtained after hire).
  4. Able to pass an annual Background Criminal Investigation (BCI).
