Mental Health First Aid Program Director- Job Announcement The Family Place Utah is seeking a full-time 40hours per week Mental Health First Aid Program Manager to join our education team and help us fulfill our mission, “Strengthening families and protecting children.”

Duties Synopsis

•Oversee MHAT grant, schedule trainings, objectives, metrics, goals, budget, etc.
•Become Certified instructor in Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid (virtual, hybrid and in person certifications other supplemental courses as needed and qualified for such as veterans supplement)
•Mid-year and yearly progress report (submit in SPARS mid-year is March end of year is September)•All reports turned in a timely manner.

•Attend all assigned meetings.

•Create classes in MHFA Connectand set up classes on Starfish and maintain a roll.

•Register attendees in MHFA Connect after invite sent

•Community Presentations (network for, create and present)

•Supervise and oversee other instructors (keeping certification current, fidelity of course being taught)•Network with community for participation in community events (booths), classes, presentations, etc.

•Play active part of CCC and CSPC coalitions(attend monthly meetings and support/participate in community events)

•Mail and/or arrange pick up/drop off of MHFA Manual and Participant guides to attendees that request


1.Master’s Degree in helping profession and bilingual preferred.

2.Two years’ experience in a related field

3.Provide your own transportation. (Mileage reimbursed)

4.Annual clearance of a Background Criminal Investigation

5.Detail oriented, organized

6.Excellent communication and public speaking skills

7.Computer skills (word, excel, social media, etc.)
