Therapist, LCSW

I’ve lived in Cache Valley since I was 10 and appreciate the slower pace of life and strong sense of community. In my free time, I enjoy quiet moments—whether that’s reading a good book, watching a favorite show, or spending time with my nieces and nephews.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a master’s in social work from Utah State University. Since graduating in 2020, I’ve been proud to work at The Family Place Utah, where I continue to support individuals and families on their healing journeys.

I come from a family of therapists, and helping others has always felt like a natural path. I work with clients of all ages and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mind-Body Bridging (MBB), sand tray therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I’m especially passionate about supporting people as they heal from trauma and navigate emotional challenges, and I find deep fulfillment in witnessing their growth.

Therapist, LMFT

I grew up on a farm in Central Utah which instilled in me a deep appreciation for nature, simplicity, and connection—values that continue to inform my therapeutic style. I enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling with my wife and our three children.

With over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a compassionate, integrative approach to therapy. I hold a master’s degree in clinical counseling with an emphasis in couples and family therapy from the University of Northern Colorado.

I have worked extensively in residential treatment settings with children, adolescents, and adults. I also served as an Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) Representative for the Catawba Indian Nation, advocating for culturally appropriate care and support.

I am trained in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy/Learning, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mind-Body Bridging (MBB), and the Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) framework. I am currently pursuing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition, I incorporate play therapy, sand tray Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my work.

Believing that healing starts with connection, I meet clients where they are, tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs and goals. My work is guided by the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and resilience.

Therapist, AMFT

Life navigates us in diverse paths and sometimes tends to make us feel stressed. anxious, or uncertain. Sometimes those paths bring trauma that makes us feel overwhelmed and hopeless. As a marriage and family therapist I would like to walk with you with compassion and find a path in which you can achieve your goals and become your true self. Making peace with the past can allow us to enjoy the present and plan a healthy path for the future.

My philosophy centers on the knowledge that the individual is not the problem. A problem entered the individual’s life at some point and became established there, making life difficult to navigate. I enjoy working with children (age 6) teens and adults, couples and families. My specialties are severe trauma, sexual abuse, sexual assault, crime and non-crime trauma, anxiety, depression, marital issues and self-esteem. I have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Gottman Methods, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Mind-Body Bridging (MBB), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), sand tray therapy and trauma treatment.

Working together we can find a healthy path to stability by providing therapeutic tools that enhance the ability to overcome trauma.

Therapist, CSW

Life can feel overwhelming, and it’s easy to believe that the challenges you face are too great to overcome. But healing doesn’t have to happen all at once. Just like the child in the starfish story, I believe that every step forward, no matter how small, makes a difference. And that difference starts with you.

As a bilingual therapist (Spanish/English), I’m here to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, self-worth, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can explore what’s been holding you back and find ways to move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that you have the capacity for growth and change. I take the time to understand your unique story, your strengths, and the challenges you’re navigating. Through proven therapeutic methods like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and others, we will work together to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom and build a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds including those impacted by trauma, addiction, life transitions, and cultural stress. But no matter where you’re starting from, I believe in your ability to create positive change in your life.

Healing is a journey, not a destination. And every step, no matter how small, is worth celebrating. If you’re ready to take that first step, or simply want to explore what it might look like to begin this journey, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can begin to create the change you deserve.

It’s true, life keeps us all on our toes, and I absolutely thrive on juggling the many roles – being a mom, a wife, a friend, a gardener, and a therapist. When I actually get a moment to myself, you’ll likely find me lost in the pages of a novel, flipping through seed catalogs dreaming of blooms, or happily creating in my art studio.

My journey in social work truly blossomed when I graduated from Utah State University in 2023 with my Master of Social Work degree, and I currently hold an LCSW license. For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a therapist at The Family Place Utah, which has included the wonderful experience of supporting students at Cache High School. Originally from Ogden, I moved to Cache Valley to attend Utah State University, where I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work. I completed my undergraduate degree just a month before welcoming my first child and spent the next 15 years focused on raising my family. Returning to USU to pursue my MSW was a deeply meaningful step, and I completed my clinical internship at The Family Place Utah, where I now continue to work part-time as a therapist.

I’m a Clinical Social Worker, offering therapy for teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and experiential modalities such as sand tray therapy.

I offer a calm, supportive environment where clients can feel safe exploring their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply seeking greater clarity and balance, I’m here to help you move forward with intention and confidence.

Sessions are available in-person or virtually. I’d love to connect and see how I can support your journey.
