Kindra started out at The Family Place Utah in 2009 as a volunteer nursery aide. She came back as therapist in 2013. Kindra was born in Atlanta, Georgia as the only girl with three older brothers. She moved to Laketown, Utah at 6 years old where she lived until she graduated high school. She went on to get her bachelor's degree at Utah State University in Psychology in December, 2010 and then a Master's in Social Work from the University of Utah in May, 2013. During her graduate work she worked at Lakeview Hospital in the Adult Behavioral Health Unit and then at LDS Family Services in Centerville. After graduating Kindra worked part-time at LDS Family Services in Ogden and Logan as a therapist and adoption caseworker. She also worked part-time and then full-time at The Family Place Utah as a therapist where she did therapy with individuals, families, and groups until she had her baby girl and moved to Florida. Kindra completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2018 and then Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator training in 2019. She now works part-time supervising new therapists, facilitating groups, and seeing some individual clients via teletherapy.
