The Family Place Utah is seeking a part-time (15-20 hours per week) Client Support Specialist to join our therapy team and help us fulfill our mission, “Strengthening families and protecting children.” Must speak Spanish and English. Competitive pay based on training and experience.

Duties Synopsis
Facilitate client access to therapy services by assisting to determine eligibility, connecting to financial resources, billing funding sources, and following up on payments. Manage and resolve accounts with open balances due to unpaid claims and client fees. Assist with managing processes related to a variety of funding sources, including insurance plans, grants, sliding fee scale discounts, Medicaid, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Veteran’s Association (VA) benefits, Crime Victims Reparations (CVR) funds, and other third-party agreements. Direct report to Therapy Support Supervisor.
Qualifications
- One year of relevant training or experience required.
- Bilingual Spanish and English language skills required.
- Behavioral health billing and coding experience preferred.
- Experience working with insurances, grants, sliding fee scales, or client collections preferred.
- Experience or degree in human services field preferred.
- Excellent computer skills required, especially Excel.
- Ability to work remotely with private, secure space and connection required.
- Strong organization skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Flexibility, adaptability, positive attitude, proactive, takes initiative.
