Adult Mental Health First Aid Training

This is a FREE virtual five hour training for any adult to learn how to make a difference for a person experiencing a mental health related crisis or challenge. Just as you can help someone having a heart attack, this course will help you to assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. Topics include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions. The course includes two hours of self-paced online pre-work that each participant is to complete before the scheduled training.

You will learn risk factors, warning signs, strategies to help individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, where to go for help, and the ALGEE action plan.

The Zoom ID will be given to those registered. Registration closes March 14th at 4 PM.

This course is valued at $170 per participant, however, The Family Place Utah has received a grant that allows us to offer it FREE of charge.
