After Trauma: Parenting When Families Have Suffered

This group is for parents of children ages 5-12 when they themselves and/or their children have experienced being a victim of a crime and/or trauma. Parents will learn skills to support their children’s resilience after trauma through the trauma-informed Parent Management Training- Oregon (PMTO) intervention. Participants will be provided with tools to increase positive behavior, stability, and decrease unwanted behaviors.

Held weekly on Tuesdays, April 13th – July 13th. There is a fee of $10 per week or FREE to eligible individuals. It will be facilitated by Cari Alvarez, M.S. Psychology Pre-doctoral Intern and Cynthia Navarro Flores, M.A. Psychology Pre-doctoral Intern.
