Assertiveness training provides an alternative to other choices (i.e. passive or aggressive) and encourages women to communicate directly and honestly. Learning to be assertive will help you to develop caring, honest, and accepting relationships with yourself and others. We should be empowered to choose appropriate and healthy responses in a variety of situations.
Handling situations more effectively results in increased self-esteem, more self-confidence, and less anxiety.
