Youth Mental Health First Aid (Virtual)

Youth Mental Health First Aid is for any adult to learn how to make a difference for youth experiencing a mental health related crisis or challenge. This is a FREE virtual five hour training. Just as you can help someone having a heart attack, this course will help you to assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. Topics include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions specific for those younger than 18. The course includes two hours of self-paced online pre-work that each participant is to complete before the scheduled training on April 20th 9:00 am-3:30 pm. This course is valued at $170 per participant, however, The Family Place Utah has received a grant that allows us to offer it FREE of charge.
