Lizzy Greene

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. With a background in education and a heart for community connection, Lizzy became a Mental Health First Aid instructor to help bridge the gap between awareness and action. She believes that when people are equipped with knowledge and compassion, they can change the way their communities respond to metal health challenges.
As an instructor, Lizzy brings authenticity, empathy, and practical experience to every class, creating spaces where participants feel safe to learn, ask questions, and grow. She is passionate about helping others build confidence to notice, listen, and support those experiencing mental health or substance use challenges.Â
Outside of work, Lizzy enjoys time with her three children, exploring creative projects, and practicing small daily rituals that cultivate hope and positivity.
Audrey Johansen
Mental Health First Aid Instructor
Audrey Johansen is a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor with over 5 years of experience teaching in community and higher education settings. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and loves speaking with individuals and groups about mental health and self-help topics.
Audrey’s work began largely because of her own mental health challenges during her college career. During her struggles, she was able to learn about mental health challenges, coping strategies, and professional support, which helped her to feel empowered while working towards healing. Her family’s actions and support were also key in her recovery. Now, Audrey teaches MHFA in the hopes that the curriculum will help empower other family members and individuals impacted by mental health challenges.
In her classes, Audrey values a collaborative approach. Her goal is that every participant will be able to learn from each other, feel listened to, and have the opportunity to apply course content. She believes learning comes through a supportive learning environment where all experiences and backgrounds are respected.
When not leading trainings, Audrey loves to read and write stories (time travel and mind-bending twists will never not be peak!), create digital art, and spend time with her friends and family.
