Summer time means family fun! Take advantage of this lovely weather and spend some time exploring the solar system with your family.
The Logan River Trail, starting at Rendevous Park on highway 91, features a scale model of the solar system if the distance between the sun and Neptune was 1 mile.
The trail Runs through the Logan River Golf Course and along the Logan River. The beautiful scenery ad bridges make this a fun walk for parents and children. Keep an eye out for planet markers and learn about our milky way.
The trail ends on 300 West and Golf Course Road.
The Planet walk was installed by sixth grade students from Mount Logan Middle school who also created a podcast to listen to as you walk (available here).
When the sun goes down, let the exploration continue. Find the planets in the sky using a stargazing app like Sky Map or Star Chart.
