Adult Mental Health First Aid Training

This is a FREE virtual five hour training for any adult to learn how to make a difference for a person experiencing a mental health related crisis or challenge. Just as you can help someone having a heart attack, this course will help you to assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. Topics include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions. The course includes two hours of self-paced online pre-work that each participant is to complete before the scheduled training. You will learn risk factors, warning signs, strategies to help individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, where to go for help, and the ALGEE action plan.

The Zoom ID will be given to those registered. Registration closes April 10th.

This course is valued at $170 per participant, however, The Family Place Utah has received a grant that allows us to offer it FREE of charge.
