Congratulations! You’ve been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!
Before you can start your school year, there are a few tasks you need to complete to show Dumbledore your are committed to your magical education.
Activities:
- Get sorted into your house. Use the quiz above to find out which house you belong to.
- Go to Diagon alley and get your supplies. Place items around the house and give each child a list of the items to find in “Diagon Alley” so they can be ready for Hogwarts.
- Item Ideas:
- Books for classes (Charm, Potions, History of Magic, etc.)
- Quills (pencils) for writing papers
- Cauldron (large bowl) for brewing potions in Professor Snape’s class
- Broom for Madam Hooch’s Flying class
- Item Ideas:
- Listen to Harry Potter Books. Enjoy listening with your children to one of the chapters of Harry Potter on Spotify. You can reenact the scenes while you listen for more fun!
Snack Ideas:
- Huffle Puffs (cheese puffs or cheese doodles)
- Ollivanders Wands (pretzel sticks)
