We only have a couple reminders and updates for you in this blog post. First we would like to remind you of the ‘Amazing Parenting’ classes on Wednesday nights, 6:30 to 8pm at our Smithfield location at 502 South Main St. For more information on that check out our main events page!

For those of you who don’t know we have recently added Pinterest to our social media outreach. Look for us there and see some of the great craft ideas, quotes and parenting tips we have found that we want to share with you!

We have been pinning to boards such as: Inspiring Words, Parenting Tips, Healthy Recipes, Kid’s Crafts and Family Activities. We have been able to find so many amazing and helpful pins to share. Pinterest is full of so many different resources and communities that we haven’t even scratched the surface of what we would be able to share! We hope you’ll look at what we have so far and give us some feedback! We want to know what you think about what we are doing so we can strive to do better and better help our Family Place community. What boards should we create? Where should we look for recipes, crafts and tips? Let us know!

With so much going on in our everyday lives, we hope these activities from what we’ve found on Pinterest, as well as our own classes and workshops, give you a chance to slow down and spend quality time with your friends and loved ones.
